    What's your mood?

I'm frustrated. The changes in HTML are really annoying. Turns out I've been stuck in 2001 whilst coding my html.

I have now spent the last 5 hours re-learning HTML and CSS to make sure my code is 'mere perfect' as I claimed it to be before. Yep, my sites mess up, but I have started to re-code them all, frustrating but has to be done.

I'm pissed since I can't find a new desk. Went to Office Depot and looked through their whole categlog with no such luck.

I made this, maybe someone can help me find a new desk. 76" width; 30" Height; 26" Depth. No drawers. I want a long monitor stand and a hutch on the right side with a keyboard tray.

I am tired since I stayed up late last night working on my son's project. It was an all nighter

I'm tired too. Haven't slept yet, been working on a client site (re-coding it all), and an internal project.

Jezzo get some sleep while you can?

RDX1, do you have Ikea over there? If so, take it into a store and tell them that's what you want, or look through a catalog?

    EDIT: Spelling mistakes

I was thinking about that, if I did i'm sure the costs would be too great.

build your own desk.. I fixed up my old desk .. first learn howto draw correct isometric images!

    I like my sexy desk:

I don't have a camera anymore.. but I built new supports / hutch (to allow for a 21" monitor). Just look at how IKEA desks are built, goto the hardware store.. buy a few slabs of particle board and metal brackets (for extra support) and you're all set. Don't forget the paint / poly-eurathane (sp?) to make sure when you spill stuff, you don't ruin your perfectly made desk!

edit: my mood? I'm tired and very aloof atm.. trying to not deal with the nightmares of coding my cpanel

The desk originally? uhm $500 cad, though my sister worked at staples so I got some sort of a discount.

It's a pretty expensive desk considering there's no expensive wood in it (oak, maple, etc) it's all particle. Though it's a good idea to get metal brackets in the corners of the supports, it REALLY helps give it more stability (it would wobble if you pushed on it enough--200 pounds+ of stuff on the desk)

I just rebuilt the hutch and supports (the right side supports). The particle board for the right side cost me about $24 and the hutch $30-40, and then I bought a few small wooden dowels + carpenters glue.

particle board is dirt cheap.. I got like a 8x10' board for $8, just buy a few of those and you're set. I screwed up with one of the boards as-well, so my price includes that.
