Question

A64 Shuttle XPC Is it Worth it?

Hello everyone. I sold my 1u rackmount server here on these forums... And i'm wondering Is this a good system to go with?
Just for an upgrade.. and going to upgrade later to other good things to.

Current Setup.

Shuttle XPC SN41G2
Xp1700 Overclocked to 2.03ghz
2x 256 Pc3200 Geil DDR Ram
Lite-on CD-RW
Ati Radeon 8500Le Pro 128meg DDR
40gig Maxtor HDD

Upgrade to

Shuttle XPC SN85G4
A64 3000+ 64bit
(getting that for $190)
2x 256 Pc3200 Geil DDR Ram
Lite-on CD-RW
Ati Radeon 8500Le Pro 128meg DDR
40gig Maxtor HDD

Same other stuff.. i have backups for that shuttle...

Once i get a better job.. I am going to upgrade the Video card and the Ram

But is this a good upgrade for now?

thanks.

PS: oh yeah i'm also a Avid Gamer.. I game alot Cs,BF,COD I also use programs like flash, dreamweaver, frontpage, photoshop, and other chat messengers and irc..

Thanks hope this is enough imput

I don't want an XPC, I'd be too tempted to throw it at someone when I'm angry. At least an ATX you can't throw... As far.

The 9800pro will last you maybe another year...two at max. If you can, aim for the XT.
