    Question Viewing Stats without Cpanel.

Does anyone know of a way to allow customers to view their stats without them having to login to Cpanel? I have a client that wants to allow a 3rd party to be able to view their site stats but does not want them to have access to the control panel. Ideally I would like something lilke www.yourdomian.com/webstats

    any ideas?

I don't see why you couldn't set up webalyzer to run periodically to getnerate the statistics, then just put the generated statistics files into a webstats directory like you want, maybe password- protecting the directory if the stats are sensitive. Isn't webalyzer one of the options used by cpanel for generating stats anyway?

You can make Webalizer avaialble to the public.

    mkdir /home/username/public_html/stats
    chmod -R 755 /home/username/tmp
    ln -s /home/username/tmp/webalizer /home/username/public_html/stats

  4. That is smart I never thought of that.
Gonna post it in my forums if you don't mind.

Your competitors are cashing in with Cpanel XP & CpanelAPP, are you?

To Clarify our Cpanel and our clients does not have Webalizer it has Awstats. Don't know why? Thats how the parent provider has configured. Does anyone know how to make its results post to a specified public directory?
