NeoWebScript is an open source scripting module for the Apache webserver. Based on the Tcl programming language, it has a number of powerful features, including the ability to embed Tcl code into HTML pages, access and manipulate databases, and generate graphics on-the-fly, among many others.

OK, I understand now, thanks.
Looks like NWS's last release was 3.3, posted in November 2000.
I would agree ... seems there's a new TCL scripting module for apache called Rivet that does something really cool - after you call the script once, it compiles it, and then the next time that script runs it runs at full compiled speed ... i.e. blazingly fast. Great concept!
Rivet is a little beta for me right now but looks like within a year it should be ready for prime time.
TCL scripting is a big part of what I do -- both in hosting and programming.
