To auto-bill or not to auto-bill, That is the question!
In the past we have offered the option to let the user pay their bill onlinr as our invoices go out. However with more customers this is taking up more time to track down users that have not made a payment, either because they forget our invoices and reminders, or their email address has changed.
Seems to me like most of the larger ISP's automatically bill their customers until they say stop.
We are considering a switch to autobilling only but I am wondering if any you have had experiences running sites with both options.
Seems like we would be more suseptable to chargeback and angry people whose bank accounts were drained on an annual hosting package they had forgotten was to renew.
The benefit seems to be ore revenue and less tracking down late payers.
