Chances are, something is not configured right and crashes your apache or is preventing it from restarting
Are you trying to load both ioncube and Zend. If yes, you must load ioncube first before Zend. At the same time, can you paste here the statements in your php.ini that's trying to load the extensions ?

Select PHP 4.3.x, Linux, and download an archive in your preferred archive format. The archive will contain documentation, installation helper scripts, and the all important ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so file.
