I found an interesting CMS. It permits to edit both PHP and HTML and view it all in WYSIWYG mode. Very simple but professional. Besides it is integrated with Plesk and Ensim. Very cheap also. I really charged our secretary with content editing. Isn't that great?
Why on Earth would a company NOT want their URL posted in a forum catering to their ideal customer? Doesn't make much sense to me. In any event, seems like a good product if it works. Comments, anyone?
The thing is as a new member I can't post anybody's URL. But I was asked to. And it is a pleasure to give some valuable hint.
By the way I like your forum and am going to participate in discussions in future.
I'd be careful with this digi company. I signed up for a monthly lease for the digiHSP version and had an extremely difficult time installing their product. Not once did anyone from the company offer to install the product after several times emailing the company. Finally when it was determined that nobody was going to help, I cancelled the lease and lost my money.
I definitely would not recommend this company.
Webedit Platinum is definitely a much better alternative with superior support. I also heard their new version will be fabulous.
Let me join your discussion. My name is Alison and I work in the company that you discuss here. First of all let me thank hopkins for his kind words and all the time he spends talking of us here.
I am sorry to have to interrupt your talk but concerning the last post by ricoche I think I will simply post here his own email (or a part of it because it is too long and contains too many details) he sent to me in the morning of one day when we were working with him. By the evening his mood changed. I don't think it's very businesslike.
For everybody let me tell that we offer free installation and perform it well and fast. He just did not have the mood to get it.
Thank you for your email.
Your support staff has been excellent in answering my questions and giving
me additional tips about how to install your software. They have also been
great about putting up with my frustrations and frequent emailings about the
troubles with my installation.
I would like to ask ricoche to give us a link to his PayPal account so that we could pay him back the $10 he decided to pay us for a month lease of Digi:HSP (by the way the first month is free with our product, but he refused to take it for free and try so it makes us think he had some other goal here).
Besides you never gave us your FTP so how were we supposed to install the product for you?
I'm looking forward to receiving the link so that you stop defaming us in forums. Thank you.
Originally posted by digi ws It was not me who started the topic, by the way.
And if ricoche does not want to communicate directly but wants to defame us in different forums? What would you advise me to do?
My advise would be to contact him off the forum first (PM/E-Mail), and discuss the situation. Once it is resolved, make a statement on the forum (if you are so afraid about having negative post about you). There is no point bashing back - even if he is no longer your client.
Also, if you are in business for a long time - remember, any small client that decided not to deal with you today, might decide to deal with you tommorow - and hi might be as big as it gets by that time. So, no point offending him now. Nothing to gain, a lot to loose.
And the last one - negative comments mixed with positive comments are much better then fight over one negative comment.
