This is to get rid of the Pop-ups on the Site.
If there is an advertiser, the Google Adsense Ad and the Pop-Ups will be removed to accomondate the Advertiser-=- GQ Hong -=-

That way you attract advertisers and users.
Otherwise it only irks them off and nil advertisers and users is what u get.
My community started off without any banners, slowly with google ad, but I never used and will never user popup ads, and thus my community grows.

Yes we started with Adsense as well, until they started their new system and we can see quite heavy drop in renvenue. Which turned out to be very unstable.
That was why we switched to this new Ad server but Alas.. It streamed Pop-Ups for every single Ad banner it sent.....
This is why we want to move away from Ad Networks and look for a few partners to work with closely.
Thanks for the advice, we would remove them until the Ad Network company could block all the Pop-Ups streamed to our sites.Last edited by galacnet; 04-26-2004 at 04:46 AM.

I thought in the Google Adsense TOS, pop ups are not allowed.

We just trialed out the Ad network for less than a week. Until we found that it was extremely irriating......
And now we asked the Business Manager to stop the Pop-Ups or we would have to withdraw from that program.
As for Google's TOS they have so much changes these few months that we have decided to shift out after their next payment this month. or maybe keep their Ads at the bottom.-=- GQ Hong -=-
