A message mainly for UK residents, what do you think about the National ID Card Scheme, will it work? how do you think they will make it secure bearing in mind that nobody has ever managed to successfully secure anything indefinitely?
How do you feel about paying for them?
And what do you feel about intrusion on your privacy, bearing in mind they will hold your full address, fingerprints, a scan of your eye and much more...?
People from other countries can give input too, but i would appreciate it if you could let me know if you are not from the UK.
I really don't see anything wrong with having to pay for them, If they were put into the system, I am guessing that they would carry the same weight as a passport, which you have to pay for anyways, However they would also carry more information and may be more effective at security checkpoints and what not..
