Hey Wako, you need to go to the site where you manage your domains and they have an area where you can register your IP's with your domains. Different registrars call it different things so if you want specifics you would need to say who your domain registrar is.

Hi,
There are many ways to find the location of the ip address.
http://ws.arin.net/cgi-bin/whois.pl
http://www.ripe.net/db/whois/whois.html
http://www.apnic.net/apnic-bin/whois.pl/
or you can use whois command to find the ip of the company

Oops, my question isn't so clear.
I want to become the owner of this ip address. How do I accomplish that? When I search for the identify of a ip, there is a network company associated with it.
can we purchase 10 at a time etc?
Hope this time is clear. Thanks.

Hi,
Normally we will connect internet using dialup or DSL. ISP providers will allot us IP address dynamically. They will use DHCP server for this purpose. It will allot IP address randomly, so it will change everytime we connect. You can get the static ip address by buying them from your ISP provider. Please contact your ISP provider.

If your in the RIPE region, you will have to go through a LIR to try and get some PI, or even PA from their space that they are willing to setup in the appropriate DB with your details. However, you will have (this is for RIPE anyway) provide justification and a breakdown of what you will be using the IP's for.
LIR pay member fees, and are allowed to charge EU a small administration fee for their time and the such.
