Customer support and reliability is a MUST! I have seen so many hosts come and go. My current host is doing a terrible job right now. I've already spent $90 on them this year . The things that bother me most are their slow servers, terrible support, and unreliable service.
Please do NOT post for your own company. Period.
I realize that you get what you pay for, but I'm really not asking for much. Everything I want is standard for hosting that usually costs $2/$3 a month. I'm obviously willing to pay more for reliability and support. Looking forward for some recommendations.
For the budget you list, it may be hard to find what you need. Do you think perhaps you shoud consider a slightly higher priced host?
Think of the fact that many if not most hosts here who have good reviews or 'at least' invest in the equipment and datacenter which can provide the uptime you want may cost a bit more. Since I have been in this industry for over 5 years I can tell you that the price structure you seek may not fit a host who will be as reliable and have the infrastructure in place to offer you the service level you desire.
Just a hint for you. I don't sell hosting under this alias so I'm not soliciting your business, but I have enough experience in this industry to tell you that a host which offers that type of pricing is more prone to fail or have bad service than one who is financially stable enough to offer both good or better uptime and support.
Sheesh, he is asking for so little and there are many long time hosts who can offer just that because they are well established and can afford the lower priced plans. The one I mentioned above, has been hosting over 5 years. I have been with them for 16 months.
the other thing is with most plans that are so little and cheap usualy atleast me I can say want them paid for 3,6 or 12 months cant be giving the credit card companys all the money. $5.00 minus transaction and processing hmmm. But ton of hosts for $5 I cant even count them all theres so many
