Anna Kournikova's parents sue their daughter over Miami waterfront home
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Anna Kournikova is being sued by her parents, who say the tennis starlet has taken over the waterfront home the three jointly own.
Sergei and Alla Kournikova filed the suit last week in Miami-Dade Circuit Court. They want the seven-bedroom home "partitioned," meaning they want money for their share of the home. It was purchased for $5 million in 2000.
Kournikova, who has never won a tournament and is known mostly for her supermodel looks, has not played competitive tennis in more than a year because of injuries.
Her agent, David Schwab, said Thursday he was unaware of the suit and had no immediate comment.

Family lawsuits are messed up. They will never be the same to each other.webmaster A T 420th.com

Her parents invested everything they had in her in her early career, they hired good coaches and sent her to Nick Bollettieri academy, etc.
She was very spoiled and rude to everyone around her from when she was just a kid and she remains that way to this day.
Too bad.

A lawsuit is not a thing that should happen within a family. If it does, most likely "the family" is no longer.

She plays tennis eh?
Hmm, I think they should just divide it up... It seems like they were an integral part of her upbringing and early movie start lifestyleCybexHost.com - Shared and Reseller Hosting Solutions on cPanel/WHM Linux Servers

If she's spoiled and rude, I'm sure that it's her parents fault. Perhaps she should counter sue for fees of the shrink that will determine why she acts the way she does and let her parents pay for it out of their own money... which is questionable if they have any of their own.
Regardless of what she acts like or if they sent her to tennis camps, they're still leeching off her. Unfortunately, that is the major trend in tennis and has been for quite some time. The way that parents act in tennis is far worse than anything I've seen in little league baseball parents or soccer moms.www.square-network.com www.squarenetwork.com
