How to take full backup of server from command prompt!!
hello Friend,
I need to take full backup of /home directory as well as full database backup of the server..
I know only one optins,
1)take /home backup and use mysqldump to take database backup..
is it possible to take thses two in one...
I have Linux server ,I use WHM 9.1 ,I have access to shell from ssh ..
Please make a urgent solution...

Yes you can. Go into WHM look under the backup section.

You can also do tar -zcvf home.tar.gz /home
For database backups use can see the man page of mysqldump

You can take /home as well as mysql database backup .
