Probably this will work but I am not to sure if it will work regards email issues. What you need to do is go to IIS and right click on your domain, click properties. on the property box, click on directory security tab, select the radio button deny access and put the IP address of all the host you wish to deny. this should work for you.

you can also go to your mail server and click on the mail console and remove or add a friendly host. But I don't know how your server is set up, so I may not be able to give you a walk through assistance

The best way is to ssh in and pico /etc/hostdeny
and add the domain name you want to block to that list.

Or if you want to blcok them form even seeing your server is on the net.

SSH in and type iptables -A INPUT -s domainname -j DROP

Domain being the domain.com you want to drop.

Redirect mail from those domains to /dev/null.
For sendmail you would probably use virtusertable, depending on how sendmail is setup.
Don't know WHM, just an idea...
Also, make sure you are blocking what you want to block, and not something with faked headers.

The ultimate thing for you to do would be to stop the traffic before it ever hits your server. This would cost a bit up front, but would save you in bandwidth costs.

iptables is the built in linux firewall. It runs from the command line so you will need to ssh in to configure it.

Look for help by googling iptables...or better yet search your host's knowledgebase.

well i suspended the account in question then later on i looked at the mail queue. it was full of thousands of spam emails so i terminated the account.

i also sent a note of explanation to the client.

If it's affecting your site(s) chances are it's affecting others. Contact your host and see if they can blacklist the IPs so that not only you but everyone else is protected as well.
