    What would YOU do????

    Question 1.

So you have some products for sale. A person contacts you to inquire about purchasing one of your products. You happen to know this person supports a cause, or has beliefs that you are very strongly against. You don't want to even communicate with the person, much less do business with them. You don't want their money, and to be blunt, you wouldn't use their money for toilet paper.

    So, what would you do????

    Question 2.

What are my rights as the seller, to refuse to do business with a person or group????

You don't have to sell, you have a right not too.

Don't communicate with them, and don't give them the pleasure of debating with you, if it's what I'm thinking, the moment Freedom of Speech talk appears in your inbox delete it. You could even go as far as getting the IP from the e-mail headers and using iptables on the server to block the subnet.

In other instances try not to mix personal with business, but there is at least one instance of "people" that you can not possibly accept money from.

Not sure what your product is but you have the right to refuse to sell to someone, unless you are a company over a certian size and you are discriminating against them based on race religion or sex..

If you don't like em just ignore them, they will go a way.

I also believe you do not have to sell if you do not want to.

You can actually discriminate against sex, age etc. In the UK we have
Saga insurance: only sell their insurance policies to people over 50
Diamond: only sell their insurance policies to women.

Its your product, and you can refuse to do business with them.

Just delete their e-mail. *shrug* Why not?

If they kick up a stink just say you never recieved it. It's your inbox after all.

But thats no fun. You should go into detail with them as to why you wont sell

You may incriminate yourself and waste time in the process.

Agreed. Don't give them the satisfaction. As soon as you reply to them...you fall into their trap....How angry will they be if you say nothing That is the beauty of it. Having said that...some people are just begging to be told. It is your choice.
