    Ordered a new SM server

    Ordered a new Super Xeon server with ServerMatrix. Well it was setup within 24 hours (awesome!!). Speeds is great but now lets look at some problems:

    1. Was never sent the login information eventhough I was told I was going to, had to look it up in orbit.
    2. Server wasn't setup with 13 ips, only one.
    3. Server did have plesk installed but only the 1 domain liscense key.
    4. Don't have the Urchin liscense key information.


    So now I get to wait.

    yeah, they never sent though, you have to look up in orbit closely though

    you need to add those ips to the server yourself

    Already submitted a support ticket. They said the people who do the plesk liscenses aren't in so I will have to wait until tomorrow. Ohh ya the also said it will probably take 72 hours to get that plesk key.

    SM they have a super sales team but i really think at this point the support guys dont like the sales team at all.

    I wonder if its like where I work...the sales people make more money, but the techies are the ones that actually have to do the work to fulfill the promises the sales people make.

    They do it usually with one only IP, leaving the whole pleasure of assigning to you. :-)
