For H-sphere, get servers without any CP, install H-sphere (it's very easy or psoft support will install it for you) and be off and running. As you grow and need to add servers, it is a very simple matter to add them to your H-sphere cluster. You will still be managing all your servers from one Admin control panel.

    Whitesell,

A plain OS install with packages specifically skipped is need to install Hsphere. If the OS is tainted to start, it would become a huge problem later down the road.

HShphere can be picky at times.

    Hi Mfjp,

We run an H-sphere cluster now and it does indeed install properly on a normal install of the supported OS's. What you need to do is exclude certain packages from being updated after the install so certain components that H-sphere relies on are not overwritten.

The instructions provided by Psoft for preparing a server are very clear and easy to follow.

    Thank you
