BeamHost redesign, please review the new site

    NEW http://www.beamhost.co.uk/

    OLD http://www.beamhost.co.uk/dev_old/

The web site has been redesigned and re-launched with a new look, and new offerings. All opinions (positive and negative) much apreciated.

    Thank you

looks pretty good, but the pages are a little bit lengthy it seems. you might have some trouble interesting people enough to read each page's content.

Maybe you could devise a scheme to have a secondary navigation and break some info up into separate pages?

When I first clicked them both I thought they were the same page because of the colouring and feel of it. The new one is better upon further inspection, but maybe using a different shade or colour to break up some of the area's might be cool. I like you offer about the google adwords. That is a cool idea.

I like the improvements made in the new version, it is certainly more pleasing to the eye. But I agree, it seems a bit too crowded for a business site.

same here I thought almost the same site due to color scheme, kinda questioned pricing 20 GBs $9.99 is cool and the norm but then 80 GB for $19.99 big jump. Me as a consumer would question the reasoning if I were to purchase. Marketing is tricky !

    Very Very Clean and professional.

    Easy to find things.

but that bit you see on the bottom of everypage is a bit useless, It's not going to attract more sales.

Thank you for your comments, the part at the bottom of every page is our Code of Ethics which is not really a sales tool, just a promise to our customers. Maybe in the next redesign, it will be removed from every page as it does take up a lot of space.

All pricing is in pound sterling GBP (roughly $1 is 55 pence [0.55]) so the 19.99 is approximately $35. The major increase in the bigger plan is a proven incentive to upgrade. Marketing can indeed, be very trick at times.

May I ask your opinions on the bottom of every page where the "Exeptional value for your money..." is, with what free features are included. I'm thinking of moving this table up to the top right of every page and maybe putting the "Why choose..." links where that is now.

Would this be a good idea? Then the sales information would be at the top of each page instead of the bottom.
