Just a word of caution: some hosts claim that they provide Fantastico and even show the icon, etc on the website, but you sign up and find out that they don't actually offer it. It gets frustrating when they come up with excuses like "we are looking at some of the other options available" and then after a few months, no response, no product and no support.
As far as I know, about 2 months ago when I left RisqueHosting/RemedyHosting due to this reason (Fantastico is very important to me), they still did not get their act together.
Fantastico is so popular now, hosts can't do without it. Which means, if you current host doesn't have it, the next one you look at will have it.

More and more companies are offering Fantastico simply because pretty much every server comes standard with it (assuming they have cPanel on it). It is very popular, and handy for newer people to web hosting, and is a big plus with clients.
Yes, we installed Fantastico on all of our servers and our clients loved it. Even better, when we give a request to Fantastico to include a script, 9 times out of 10, they include it for us in the next version (of course, we do our homework before we make a request for scripts that utilize speeds, etc...).
