    Resell which dedicated server ?

Im looking to resell dedicated servers from a company... i get dedicated server enquiries now and then, and currently someone is enquiring about that service so if i manage to get a nice reseller deal I might be able to get a box straight away depending on how it goes.

What im wondering is... which company should i resell for ? Personally I like Server Matrix and Fast Servers alot... but not sure how can i be a reseller for them ?

    Thanks !

ServerMatrix would be a good choice, but you would have to contact them about reselling their servers.

Just to give you some background info,

ServerMatrix is a decent provider but they don't actually have a "reseller" program although people talk as if they do.

They offer a small discount for people who buy more then two servers from them, and they give no discounts at all for add ons like control panels, extra ram, hard drives etc.

Any server provider I know who has an official reseller plan gives better discounts, like Netsonic or Nocster for instance. (Using those names for examples, not necessarily a recommendation.)

No problem in reselling SM servers, just letting you know you won't make much money with them unless you jack your prices above theirs. At least one person I know was losing money by selling the servers and extra's at SM's prices and the payment processing fee was more then he was making. (Nope, wasn't me )

As for fastservers contact them directly, as I think they are just launching a reseller program.

gnax would be my best advice. I resell through them, and they give a nice discount on bulk orders.

i get from them last time (GNAX)
"We operate on volume based discounting as follows:
1-14 servers billing = 10% discount off of retail prices listed at www.tranxactglobal.com
    15-19 = 15%
    20 and more is 20%
    "

I just emailed them direct, and they replied with answers to all the questions I had asked and discount coupon.

Id suggest sending them an email.

There are a lot of dedicated server providers over there. So you can contact them and decide what host best fit your needs.

Toonz, I spoke with the FastServers sales team a few weeks ago about their reseller plans and they were very helpful. They sent me over a copy of all the reseller documents with the pricing structures, and the rules/regulations of the deal. You can get up to a 40% discount on their servers I believe. They're a good company, and a good place to resell servers. GNAX is also easy to resell from, because you don't need to have any servers with them to start reselling.

Server Matrix is harder to resell from, because as mentioned, profits are pretty low.
    Thanks,

I am just starting as a reseller for superbservers.net - they offer great prices, they are willing to work with you the reseller and are very very proactive in helping there resellers with new systems, better prices and whatever else possible.

Here is a link with a bit more info http://www.superbservers.net/services/partners.php

Hope this helps. PM me if you have any questions for me, as a reseller..

Don't jump in as a reseller if you're not prepared to handle the work that comes along with it. There;s much more to do besides the initial sale & setup. Just a warning

Yes, and providing support for dedicated server clients is more complicated. Not to mention they expect fast response times to tickets and what not. They invest a lot of money into you, and expect the investment to pay off, otherwise they move on.

FYI: i dont think ev1 has reseller programs....

http://tailormadeservers.com - You should consider reselling for them. They will support the client and have good reseller prices if you are a client. You can make/design your own server with there custom order form.

Price: B+ The prices are ok but a bit high compare to other companys.

Support: A+ Great support + the free reboot ports. Most of the time you don't need there support

You can give your clients access directly to the support system (reboots, MRTG, etc..) and still have everything in your account. When we were actively reselling for them, Juane whipped up sub-account features & a ton of changes for us in PerlDesk, they're great if you need them.

And often they expect you to be "over there," at the DC.

Thanks guys but how reliable are superbservers and tailormadeservers ? Honestly I tend to trust companies who have been around long, and intend to keep a long-term relationship with them... if I need any US boxes I would be getting from them. Thus the provider must be really reliable...which is why I came down to SM and FS.

From what i see, SM prices are much lower than FS, which is what is making me thinking about the reseller plans at FS...
