Suggestions for free help desk?
Hi all. I've got a little reseller account that I use to host sites for my family and friends. I'd like to set up a help desk area for my "clients" to be able to send me requests. In all honesty I'm not sure it'll be used and I don't make any money from these hosting accounts because I host them all for free so I'm looking for a good free helpdesk program.
My cpanel account comes with OneOrZeroHelpDesk and phpSupportTickets. I have no problem downloading other scripts as well. I thought I'd ask here first before I start installing random help desk programs. Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

We tested out phpSupportTickets before going with PerlDesk; it was a good piece of software if you just need something simple.

Hey We usually direct our client to use Help center live. It integrates live chat and a support desk together and its free. This comes in the fantastico bundle. But i don't know if your host has this on there cpanel. There are 6 different support ticket desk programs to choose from.
Hope this helps .

I'd also recommend HCL. I had a quick look at it before using Kayako.

Maybe a forum would be a good idea too. Create a small community for your friends. Just an idea...
Cheers!

support-logic.com has been just terrific so far. My clients particularly like the email piping feature. But then, I'm with one of the better-known and respected reselling providers, so I only get tickets when the client screws up.

I like phpCoin (http://www.phpcoin.com/) ... has a pretty good help ticket system, and will do account maintenance items too (billing, etc.) Has a FAQ section you can populate, and "articles" you can manage also.
