How to enable visibility of hidden files like .htacces on ftp server access of a users... I'm using Cpanel and Proftpd
I don't think cPanel's proftpd disables access to any files by default. If a client requests hidden files it ought to display them. Check for a HideFiles directive in /etc/proftpd.conf if you can't see them with 'ls -a' in a client.
What FTP client are you using?
bullet proof ftp. but even in IE is sould be visible
