Domain copyright issue
OH NO I registered a domain like "somenamehosting.com" and I see "somenamehost.com" is registered. Will copyright infringement on this be possible the website says coming soon, and I havn't had a chance to see when it was registered, if it was before mine or not. My site is not up but I registered the domain name 2 yrs ago. Would it be a matter of who registered first or who gets their website up first? Basically the difference is in the ing part of the name host versus hosting.

Unless the other company has buckets of money and a penchant for litigation you should be ok. As for "who registered first" normally its which ever name is used for commerce/trade first .
(note : IANAL)

My opinion if the domain is not a trademark then shouldn't be any problem , so u may neet to check if it's a trademark or not

There is a free US trademark search at mycorporation.com:
http://www.mycorporation.com/tradema...linesearch.htm
It asks for an email address but it doesn't validate it.
