Well, you can probably just use /scripts/easyapache if you want to make it simpler and use Custom and configure the options you need. PHP suexec is good for security. But may work a bit differently from what you are used to.
In the last 3 days since I got server, I went from pretty much reading a few comments on how to set up stuff etc and on the way learnt bit of simple crobtab scripting and used what i learnt to make a daily one that checks for main keywords like Failed and Illegal user etc and email me. Got apf working perfect, every port figured out. Done some edits to harden the server etc, learning leaps. Reading every log every few hours and understanding them pretty well.
Then it comes to things like updateing Php, Phpadmin... well really. Software that work under Cpanel.
I cant get past the fact how cpanel and these software work together and i dont wanna break something.
I just need an 'step to step' example for say upgrading php so it wont break with cpanel and i proberly can work out and not be so scared to try and update phpmyadmin myself and other stuff thats behide.
