Tektonic website access and setting up of new accounts
Whats up with tektonic.net's website.. its been up and down for me these 2/3 days.
Moreover I signed up with them just over 27 hours ago and while I received my signup mail almost immediately, I have yet to receive my account information. I was told that my payment needs to be verified before they activate my account. In the meantime, I've lost 1 day, and am inching towards that 72 hours refund deadline.
I'm puzzled as my bank was charged in real-time when my order was successfully processed. Didn't their bank inform them my payment has been processed and accepted. BTW, I used a Visa Debit Card and the transaction would not have gone through if there were insufficient funds in my account.
So here I am being charged for a service but cannot access to use as it is not activated.
There must be a better way to do this and I hope tektonic will modify my next month payment date to +30 days from the date they actually activate my account.
Anyway no biggie and its only $15.... but not a good start for me.

.... Sorry I forgot to mention I submited a Support Ticket about 10 after signup and was told that my account will only be set up after confirmation from their bank that my payment is good.. was specifically told they had to do this since my order was from Malaysia.... where there is a high incidence of online CC fraud.. so this will take a while.
.. meanwhile I an still waiting for my account setup info.. my customer support was set up and hence I was able to submit a support ticket.. which is a good thing.
They will probably be waiting for the bank to clear the payment which won't happen until after the weekend most likely.
I would not take it personally. Unfortunately hosts have to do this with orders from your neck of the woods due to more orders than not being fraud these days.

I have signed up with TektTonic for a VPS plan, and the account was up and running in 12 hours. Also Matt is very friendly guy, he took care of everything for me.
Well, i am from Romania, were are definitely more frauds then in Malaysia, but I have my own MC card and maybe that the confirmation from the bank was done quicker, I guess.
But let me tell you something, the country doesn't matter anymore, because before I signed up with TekTonic, I was with Eryxma Networks, leaded by a person named Josuee Shang Ortiz (aka Joe Shiekron), which suddenly disapear with customers money, and left all the people without their web sites. The customers data was then taken by Glexicon Comunnications, which have been working day and night (for free), to give the users back their backup information from the mess which Jossue left when Eryxma was gone.
So I have payed the hosting in advance for year, and have part of it only 3 moths. Well, Eryxma owes me $180, money which I will probably never see.
Damn, I must be the first romanian frauded by an american in the history.
