    Good or Bad?

    Hello.

Today, my mom drove me around, and I dropped off some applications. All of them (the same company, can you guess which coMpany it is?) said "Thank you, you will be contacted shortley."

Is that good or bad? I really need a job.

There is no exact way to say it, some may say "Thank you, you will be contacted shortley" and mean it and others say it to get you out of the store

Just show them you are persistant (drop by every other day), etc.

    Wish you luck.

    Thank you

I even asked for a manager because I thought that would be more professional. I asked for the manager, and handed him the application. Hurray, maybe he wanted to get me out of the store.

    Thanks.

Maybe he was busy at that moment and didnt really have time to deal with an applicant? Stop in again, in a couple days.... keep going back or calling every 2 or 3 days so they remember who you are and will know you are serious and persistent. Good luck!
