Does Alex Yuriev still work there? I heard rumors both ways following their recent string of downtime; which, by the way, is absolutely not Yuriev's fault.

    Greetings:

This is the 1st time I've seen co-location to be paid one year in advance.

The major players typically only require you to pay month by month; granted, they usually have a one-year minimum contract.

    Thank you.

It looks like that offer was based on getting 12 months of service for the price of 10 months. Monthly pricing would be $300 on a month to month contract.

We do not "require" yearly paid in advance contracts...

Ahh, I see now why you were quoted a yearly price.

Your request for pricing quote was this:

    "2U - $2500 - $3000 MAX per year"

...so we quoted you a yearly price, rather than monthly :-)

    Greetings:

It is good to know that Burst Net works with monthly payments as well as yearly.

Thank you for clarifying this issue.

    That is unfortunately very true.

    Quote seems very reasonable too.

Thanks for all the information, and yes i wanted to pay on a yearly basis, but i still do have some concerns: the price you quoted me is it for a half-Duplex 10Mbps? because i dont want a half-duplex line.

The whole issue was caused by my DC giving me strange prices for connections upgrades as in a 10Mbps connection would cost $350/Mo. while upgrading to a 20Mbit/s line costed 3-4K per month!!! They also gave me the price after referring to the 20Mbit/s as a guarranteed 20Mbit/s line which shows that my current 10Mbit/s connection would not be able to handle just about anything.

I wanted BurstNET to tell me how much would their 10Mbit/s connection be able to handle (In GBs per month) etc...

And i want to make sure for the last time, after receiving the quote, concerning upgrading issues, that i would be able to add even another server and boost the connection to 20Mbps (obviously passing through both) for another $3000/Yr.

Basically in other words, the final look would be, two 2U servers connected through one 20Mbps port, ALL costing $6000/Yr. in $3000, and $3000 increments (after adding the second server).

BurstNET, could i rely on you for doing that?

Are you really sure you wanted to pay yearly first?
You should pay monthly first for few months and if you happy with BurstNET services and network then you can go for Year payment contract.
