I need a design for my Call Of Duty Team...
I am in need of a logo design. I know exactly what I want, but
I am not very artistic. It is actually a logo for a gaming clan,
so there will be 2 images... one a logo, the other a banner
made of basically the same logo image on one side, and a
Call Of Duty public banner for phpnuke.
The logo I would like in the form of a Military patch on a
transparent background. On the military patch I wish to
simply have a circle. Around the outside of the circle will be the name of the team. {TRv}Team-Ravage. On the inside I would like a soldier torso up, leaning out of the circule "Rambo style"
but an American WWII soldier with helmet on and hanging his 50Cal machine gun out the circle..
The patch would be greenish Military color, and the circle and soldier should stand out from the background. (One way to do
this would be a solid background circle)...
Concept is there, but I am more autistic than artistic. Any recommendations, or if someone wants to price something like this, I would appreciate it greatly.
I thought the banner for the website header would simply
be a standard Call Of Duty type PHPnuke header and slap
the logo on the left side of it, sizing it of course...
Thanks!

If it's illustration you want that's $$$+ Illustration is very time-consuming. No doubt someone here will pitch-in with a clipart image.
...but you'll never be able to copyright it.Logo Design • Vector Conversion • Print

Yea, I guess I am looking for an illustration?
The idea is pretty common (something hanging out a circle
of some type on a background. The image can be a clip-art, it is
a gaming team. I own another website, custom designed everything and it cost me $$$ and it is jsut HTML and DHTML.
I don't care if the thing leaning out is a vulture, as long as it
is touting a 50cal machine gun and looks nasty.
Yea, I guess it is likely to be a custom illustration. For people that just paste together clipart, this would leae them out. I need a
real illustrator not just a web designer.
I wonder if I am also in the wrong area. I am a newbie, and I have to admit, I found this place by gogling for a gaming logo designer, and it picked up on an archive of old messages from last year in this forum. (so if I am in the wrong one, sorry).
If someone can point me where I can get an illustrator, I would be greatful.
I know it may cost some money. I am already paying for two hosted websites (one 100% custom logo TM, and all, plus this hosted one, undone, the gaming server ($123/mo), team speak server ($10/mo), by myself, and it is killing me.
If I use an illustrator I can TM it, and will. If it is clip art because someone has something like that in clipart, I understand I can't copyright it, but what can you do.... It is only a gaming team.
THanks for the heads up.
Mark

Just hire a website designer who specializes in clan websites to do it for you. Some top notch ones are http://www.intriguemedia.net/ and http://www.fwdesigns.net/
