    Need domain to redirect to folder

    I have a domain and want when a user goes to domain.com for it to transfer him to domain.com/os

    should i use an index file with a redirect or should i use htaccess?

    i want the fastest thing possible, but i'm not really sure how to do it. can someone tell me how?

    You can make an index.php and put
    <? header ("Location: http://www.domain.com/os"); ?>
    Why do they call them fingers? I never seen them fing. Oh, there they go.

    would htaccess be better?

    If you are planning to use mod_rewrite in htaccess, I have found that to be slower than PHP. Plus, with PHP you can even setup the system for multiple domains -- saw a redirection script on hotscript that does all this with a backend mysql database as well.
