Uptime Monitoring Services

Who do you guys think offers the best uptime monitoring service?

I have used alertra before but now I'm testing alertbot. Alertbot monitors uptime and also gives you load time details. Anyone reccomend something else?

I'm with siteuptime (paid) and alertra (trial). Out of the 5 times my backup server was brought down (very minor downs), siteuptime caught all of them, and alertra just one.

Same IP tested, same timer, same everything. I was quite surprised, as I expected a lot more from Alertra.

I have been using siteuptime.com for several months and would highly recommend their service. I recieve emails and text messages to my cell phone if there are any problems with my servers. I can't think of a false/ positive alert while using them.

I've used Alertra for some time now, detected all of my downtime, no problems here.

I use the 2 minute service on SiteUptime, why pay the stupidly high Alertra charges, when you can have basically the same service for a tiny fraction of the cost....

Well that's the same as anything in life Matthew

Alertra is great (if a little expensive once you get more servers online). We've never had a problem with their service.
