I did the quick check dns site and everything shows up great with no flaws except that the only way i can get my site to work is to use URL Redirect. I try to use the A host but it always tries to go to port 80 which cant be used due to cable company blocks port 80. phantomhp.com is the domain and it goes through port 24. The site currently works fine but doesnt show up on some search engines and a few browsers. So is there a way to get past the default port 80 and go through port 24???
DNS does not give port information. It will only return the ip address of the requested domain name. You options are to continue using the redirect service or link to your domain like this: http://your_domain:port_number ( ex. http://phantomhp.com:24 should work once you change your dns to point to your ip address).
