    what to optimize?

    Hi, i'm new to managing servers. The result from Top:

    and anyone point me into the right direction what to optimize/fix? it seems to be a strain on a AMD 2200 512 mb. thank you.

    need to look at /etc/my.cnf and httpd.conf

    search here and u'll find some good optimized my.cnf examples

    I don't get it - where's the problem? On a 512 MB server I would think that a top like that is pretty normal: A load well below 1.0, 220 MB cache and a bit of unused, old stuff swapped out to disk in order keep the memory usage optimal. What's wrong?
