How does a mod validate the deal exactly?

Wish I could give you the link to this forum's helpdesk, but the forum won't let me post links to this very website won't let me till I reach 5 posts. A bit odd!

I'll post the link in the next message.

    Okay! You go to:
    http://www.webhostingtalk.com/helpdesk/

*I think* you submit a ticket under the general moderator category. Submit your license number, and perhaps the name and email address on the license. And you should probably include a link to this post or other post asking for mod validation, so the mod can verify the status of the license.

I could be wrong about this... only been looking at this forum for a little while now. Anyone who knows better, please feel free to correct me. Thanks!

Eugene, I don't see a ticket for you. Can you resend it with your license #, name and email address associated with the license?

    Best,
    Eugene.
Hey, new, you already took me up on my offer, cheatipants!

Well, uhhhh... I suppose I could match it or do $111. Yeahhhh... $111, that's my final offer.

Seriously, that's $141 total when I gotta extend it, which is awfully close to the $160 to buy it new. So that's prolly the best I can do. I gotta get somethin' off the new price to make it worthwhile!

And, you know, I gotta go out and get it detailed and Zymol'd and all that, and that's already included in a new license. Or, uh, wait a minute... Think I'm confusing something here. Heh

Anyway, if vb didn't charge a yearly renewal, I WOULD go considerably higher, certainly.

    Just lemme know!

its only 30$ a year, and personally I decided not to renew.
after all vB is now 3.0 gold final so in two-three months they should sort out the bugs and maybe security fixes... and thats it.

I dont see why'd you want to pay 30$, because I'm not sure if there are going to be any upgrades for some time after that...

anyway, 111$ is fine I think.
mouse answered my ticket this time, and emailed vB so that should get sorted in an hour or two. if I dont get a higher offer until then, I'll sell to you.

    Best,
    Eugene.
