Locked out of website

I can't get to my website from my home. I can't get to other sites, other people can get to my websites from their computer. But I can't get to my websites from my computer. Is this possibly a Comcast issue.

1. Check you computer is turned on.
2. Check you have power.
3. Maybe it's your DNS servers?

#1 is a key component in most cases. #2 also is key.

Ok, maybe your host blocked your ip due to massive uploading, they might have thought it was some flood script or something. If you have dynamic ip you might be able to restart your modem and have a new ip assigned. That might help and maybe post your URL here so we can check if we can go there.

Maybe your account is suspended for violation of AUP/TOS or your last payment did not clear.

But it seems fairly clear to me that Comcast cable has cut the cable to the web for you. Better contact them.

Sounds like it's on your side. Might be an issue with the network you're on (Comcast). I'd at least give them a call and make sure there are no unresolved network issues before you can rule that out.

Comcast probly has a router down somewhere and its preventing you from accessing stuff or the comcast dns service is out of whack. If you know your own router well enough just use the nameservers for your domain to temporarily bypass your ISP's dns (I have done this before) If you don't then just wait it out.

I can get to another site that I'd like just can't get to three sites hosted by Cyber Ultra Hosting.

It appears that all comcast locations in my area are unable to get to the websites. SBC Customers don't seem to have the issue. This just about sucks. Don't know my router well enough. Did try some alternate DNS's with the similar results. Comcast has also indicated that it can't reach the websites from their service centers using a cable modem, but could through some alternate link. Not savy enough to understand beyond the cable modem yet.

sounds like a routing problem, see if they are aware of a problem on the network
