I could always say exactly what I wanted.
I could reach things on the top shelf without having to get a chair or help.
When I called someone and didn't want to talk to them I could go straight to their voicemail and leave a message.
People would read or listen to what I have to say and not scan a line or two and jump on the bandwagon.
Things would always work the way they are supposed to.

Anything I've ever wished for I've gone out and worked hard to get. For the most part all those wishes have come true. The ones I missed out on, in retrospect, weren't that important anyway so I have no regrets.

Wishing for things is fine.. it takes some work to make sure they come true.
