I think I've looked at one thats a good candidate, do you know of a camcorder that is able to take video from the AV cord and record it? Instead of giving output, using it as input?
Edit: one of the reasons I'm asking this question is because of this quote for a potential product i will buy: "When at the local field, connect the RX to a portable camcorder to view in real-time (if your camcorder has an LCD) and record your flight for later viewing at home."

If you're gonne edit the movies and add some special effects in them you should pay a little more, cause the quality of low priced dv-cams is good enough for viewing, but not for 'real' editting. I recommend JVC camera's, affordable quality.
