I own both. If you need a quick canned solution DRAMS is the ticket. Cheap, simple and versatile award goes to whois.cart.

    Too little info

    1) Will you be using Enom? or another registrar
    2) Will you be supporting resellers
    3) What domain extensions will you be selling
    4) What hosting control panel will you be using

Each script has its uses and each are probably equally good at the target audience so not really which one is better.

Plus for gawds sake don't listen to the people on this forum make your own mind up

    In that case Drams

Whoiscart is a great product but has certain current limitations especially in respect to resellers.

I have both plus Modernbill and none do exactly what I need so from what you say above my vote would be for Drams as it seems to most closely fit your needs and not cause one is better than the other.

I realize this isn't one of the thread starter's options, but how do you all feel PDQ (from eNom) compares to drams?

(I am asking because the thread starter said he is using enom, etc... and it's basically the same price as drams.)

    Thanks.

PDQ isn't really customizable like drams, you'd have to stick with enom options.

plus with drams you can double check the buyer for fraud protection and checking etc. with PDQ u can't use ur own merchant account.

I'm going to use the pdq interface instead of drams, I think. The interface seems a little more "intuitive" for the customers, and ultimately I want something that is VERY easy for my customers to figure out and use.

DRAMs seems to be a bit "clunky", and even though it is cheaper and has a lower usage cost (lower transaction fees if I use my own merchant account instead of enom), I think my customers will be happier with the PDQ.

Bashar, may I ask why you are using PDQ? You seem to like drams.... (I'm just curious.)

i use all RR PDQ and drams.

i only used drams to translate it to arabic otherwise i would stick with PDQ and save my self the hassle and the services which can't be enabled with drams

also using drams is lil bit more expensive to me than enom CC services.

just forgot to add that drams plus has cpanel/webhostmanager which can create hosting and even sell dedicated servers which is an addon you don't see at PDQ.

so each one has its own benefits above the other.

    DRAMS all the way!

I own both and I must say DRAMS makes your life so much easier. YOu can not only sign up hosting, register transfer and manage domains but you can also do all sorts of invoicing tailor made to your customers. You can sell other additional services and on top of that you can reply both to your sales and support tickets from with in the admin section of drams.

Furthermore, the current DRAMS version is quite stable and wonderful features are being added to it everyday. YOu can also check your server status from the admin section. Need I say more...

DRAMS certainly beats whoiscart hands down any day, any time!!!

I put in some inquiries to whoiscart but seems the support is not quite up to par. Support is vital where you have so many issues in installing etc.

I own both and DRAMS came out the winner.

The only down side is the recurring payment support does not cover enough payment providers (yet).

whoiscart.net has been unreachable for almost two weeks now.

Happened just after a DNS change.

WHT has been going up and down like a yo-yo for the past few days though
