Please god GET RID OF THIS BANNER!
How could anyone stand it! Please take it down before I pass out and vomit for http://autica.com. The banner is shaking so much I'm literally getting sick!
Take it off, take it off now!

Yeah I will say it does get on your nerves but I do notice it and I am sure people also notice. Most likely click it just to see who is doing it. So it most likely draws a little clicks then everyone else.

If you ask me its looks cheap and tacky anyway, no wonder they wont put their company name on it, it reminds me of a spam email.

Extremely Annoying Ad
I'm sorry but this one is just pissing me off. I don't mind viewing the ads but not when they don't allow my eyes to move away from the top right corner of my screen. It detracts from the actual content of the site. I really wish iNet would actually screen the ads they allow so we don't get things like a "whale's blowhole" from some guy's rear end in a pool or this.

I was about to make a thread about this. Autica's ad was ok last time, but now it's just crazy. It's extremely extremely annoying.
Normally, I support WHT's right to advertise, but until this ad is removed, I have blocked the ads.Last edited by Xshare; 04-12-2004 at 03:49 PM.

When people complained about the tool bar they said "oh please, just move the scroll wheel once and it's out of view" well then you can do the same here can't you.

The bar was static, this ad is just... all over the place.

Sash! the banner has the same effect on me too; I've been quicky scrolling the page down to get it out of view so it doesn't kick off a migraine. You're not alone, my friend. I'll be glad when that ad gets cycled off!!!
Unfortunately Safari does not have banner-ad blocking yet, so scrolling will have to do.

Do they pay per click here?
I know this may take extra time, start clicking it if that is the case.

Dont WHT even moderate the ads that go up? It degrades the forum IMO.█ Xcellweb.net - Quality Web Solutions That Work!

I did the same thing on blocking the images... I usually switch the banner-blocker on and off depending if I'm on broadband or the back-up dial-up, mainly to avoid the Flash ads. But this one is as bad as the ones with the rapid flashing ones.

Sure, you can do that but it is so in your face that it is hard to and I shouldn't have to change my viewing habbits to ignore this. The fact is it annoyed me so much I've just had my browser block all images from ads.inetinteractive.com. Simple solution for me. This however is counterproductive for iNet and WHT and in the end hurts the valid advertisers here.73's, Kim

The iBar is nothing compared to that ad. I don't even notice the iBar anymore except to jump to another iNET forum.
