    From EV1's FAQ
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. These can be credit cards or bank check cards that work as credit cards.
Been looking and have not found one for under $7 with paypal. Only thing close was 8.95

    or if Register.com accepts paypal.

.... register.com charges 35.00 for .org domains. Instead of asking people here to go to the sites to look at it. Might be easier for you to.

http://www.idotz.net/ is 8.75 and they accept paypal.
Edit: and the one Humpie suggested does not accept paypal.

I know this is kind of off topic. But you can use PayPal accounts... atleast as far as I can remember normal accounts can do this.
But you can have PayPal create like an online debit card for you. That you can go on the web and purchase items. I have their mastercard already, but I think reg accounts can do this as well. Might look into it. IN that case you could go with
EV1servers.net and pay for it with the online mastercard.

Checked the Rules for that... heres the requirements...

To use this feature, you must meet the following requirements:

Have a positive U.S. Dollar balance
    Add a credit card
    Complete your Expanded Use enrollment
Add and confirm control of a checking account

Go with http://www.namecheap.com --- It's IMO the most painless Domain Registrar that accepts paypal.

interneat is right. I registered few names there and never had any problem. I heard some awfull stories about people that tried save some money and registered in cheap places and lost the domain (for good!). I think it worth spending few more (and namecheap are not expensive) and be safe.

    Hi,

I found your post very interesting and would like to look into this, however after visiting the PayPal website and checking my account control panel I can't find any information on the specified service, could you give me more information on this (or preferably a link)?

    Thanks.

The PayPal debit card program has a limited rollout. I know for a fact you have to have met certain requirements in your account.

Being Canadian (Considered an International by PayPal), I had to be a PayPal member for 90 days, and have a "sustantial amount of account activity" according to the representative I talked to, before they issued me a Debit Mastercard.

You could try to email them to ask, they are usually prompt in the replies (24 hours or less).

--edit-- I found the email I got

    Thank you for contacting PayPal.

We appreciate your interest in the PayPal Debit Card. At this time,
PayPal is conducting a limited rollout of our ATM/Debit Card. Based on
the success of this program, PayPal intends to make the card more
widely available over the course of 2003.

When you become eligible, you will see an 'Apply for an ATM/Debit Card'
link in the 'Account Overview' page. You must complete the following
requirements in order to receive the debit card:

Upgrade to a Premier or Business PayPal Account
Add a credit card to your PayPal Account
Become 'Verified' by completing the Expanded Use Enrollment
    Process
Primary credit card address must not be a P.O. Box
Be an active user of PayPal for over 90 days

    Please note:

If you did not see a debit card offer and would like to request one,
or you would like more information, you may contact us via webform at
    https://www.paypal.com/wf/f=dc_obt

Thank you for being a valuable member of the PayPal community.

    Sincerely,

Thank you for your post interneat. The only requirement I don't meet is the premier account, as I just have a basic one. I think I will upgrade. Could you tell me of other requirements of this service, such as age restrictions. I hope the normal restriction of credit card 18 or over doesn't apply in this case, as the only reason I am trying get an account like this is because I am 16 and only have a Visa Electron.

    Thanks.

See if you can get to this page after you log in:

    https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/w...a/policy_debit

It doesn't look like there are any age requirements outside of the original age required to open and use a paypal account (18). Keep in mind, the name on the debit card will be whoever the account is registered to, so if it's your parents, it will arive as their card.

I just upgraded to a Premier account. The link you provided contained the following error message:

    'TEMPLATE [p/gen/ua/GB_en_GB/incl_debit] LOAD FAILED'

I think this maybe because my account doesn't yet have the option to get the Paypal Mastercard. I will drop an email to Paypal.

    Thanks for your help.
