I don't think you understand the process. You refer a client, you get paid for the referral, and you get paid until the client cancels their plan, which could be 20 years later.
You refer 20 packages at approx $50. That's a referral payment of $750, plus $250 every month after that until they cancel. If they keep their plans on average 5 years, you've made a total of:
$250 x 12 x 5 = 15,000
That's $15,750 for referring 20 clients. My current sales reps are quite happy with their pay.

Referring clients is not the hard work. Building a 3 year old company, paying legal fees, paying hardware/service/employee/license fees, maintaining a network, keeping positive relations with clients and 24/7 support; that's the hard work.
Perhaps sales isn't for you.
