Just initiate a transfer from the gaining registrar. It is no different than a transfer betwen registrars

Can I ask why you want to make such a move?
Is there any particular reason?
Just wondering...

may be the ID protection for only (0.99 ) , or maybe this
Transfers to RegisterFly.com are affordably priced:
$6.99 PRICE SLASH .com, .net, .org and .info (Limited Time)
$4.99 PRICE SLASH US and .BIZ (Limited Time)

RegisterFly is a MUCH LARGER operation than NameCheap in terms of e.g. market share:
RegisterFly - 700,000
NameCheap - 160,000
Don't get me wrong, I'm not recommending either.

yeah, i dont like register fly, their pages take 10 seconds to load while name cheap maybe 1 or 2 seconds.
Ive been using namecheap for a year now and have gotten used to it and like it.
So does anyone know how to switch? I tried a transfer to a non-registerfly user but all that did was send me an email telling me to get a registerfly account.
Thanks

Go to namecheap find the transfer a domain option and just follow whatever instructions they have posted.

Yes, let me repeat. Go to namecheap.com, find the part of their site called TRANSFER DOMAIN. Initiate a transfer FROM namecheap and the name should transfer within a few days. You will need to pay the 9.00 or so that namecheap charges for transfers
