Can I ask why you want to make such a move?
    Is there any particular reason?
    Just wondering...

RegisterFly is a MUCH LARGER operation than NameCheap in terms of e.g. market share:

    RegisterFly - 700,000
    NameCheap - 160,000

Don't get me wrong, I'm not recommending either.

yeah, i dont like register fly, their pages take 10 seconds to load while name cheap maybe 1 or 2 seconds.

Ive been using namecheap for a year now and have gotten used to it and like it.

So does anyone know how to switch? I tried a transfer to a non-registerfly user but all that did was send me an email telling me to get a registerfly account.

    Thanks

Go to namecheap find the transfer a domain option and just follow whatever instructions they have posted.

Yes, let me repeat. Go to namecheap.com, find the part of their site called TRANSFER DOMAIN. Initiate a transfer FROM namecheap and the name should transfer within a few days. You will need to pay the 9.00 or so that namecheap charges for transfers

    I second you, Bashar but I want to add something;
there is no best registrar, there is best registrar for YOU
there is a best registrar for you AND for your domains!
It depends on your needs for every single domain of yours; you might just want a little web space with it, e-mail, or just want to park it, etc, and being every registrar different (well almost) you might want different ones for your domains.
Instead some might want to register and/or keep them all with the same registrar to keep things simple and get more familiar with just one domain management software.
    Your choice....

thats why some people divide their domains on several registrars even if its a bit expensive just to use certain features like security or more anonymous etc..

If you want to transfer from registerfly be careful - they really register domain not for you but for themself - so you won't recieve transfer confirmation email at all.

This is quite false, your issue is a simple invalid contact info problem. Fix the contact info and issue solved

I've used my contact info during registration.
Why they put they own and show false whois information?

this is some weird system problem with registerfly. this has happened to me several times. its simply a matter of your default not showing up properly.

as for the rest of all this i have tons of domains at registerfly, but with their totally sucky new site im afraid im going to start moving. i am in my domains daily and it is toooo slow

ive been a huge fan of theirs forever but enough is enough.

my other stuff is at namecheap BUT although namecheap says they have FREE redirects and stuff, they do NOT which makes me mad because i registered some names and needed that service.
