As of this morning, my domain transfer was complete, moving it from Network Solutions to Go Daddy. Incidentally, avoid Go Daddy like the plaque. My cat could have solved some of the problems I have had with them with greater precision and grace. However, my cat's an amazing creature, but I digress.
When I try and publish, using Front Page which I know I can do as I have another page on Go Daddy's servers that has no issues using the same method, I receive the same error repeatedly. It is a generic nag screen saying that Share Point Services are not in place, FP extensions may not be installed, I might be going through a proxy, etc.,
I know the extensions are in place, I have uninstalled and reinstalled them and confirmed this with "support." I have been told by Go Daddy that until the nameservers propogate, I won't be able to publish. I understand that I might not be able to see my published page until the propagation is complete, but would that produce the error?
I nned any feedback I can get. I am trying to publish a client's page that has been down for going on two weeks now, and I can't help but feel that I'm getting nowhere with Go Daddy.
