Is there any way I could have a "buy it now" price for lets say $30 on my webpage, but if nobody purchased the item yet, the person would have the option to have exclusive rights on the item for $50. So if someone buys it with exlusive rights, then nobody else can buy that item after him. I am probably going to use paypal for a merchant but maybe something else is better? ANy help is appreciated!
Sounds almost like you would need at least a database to maintain that? You would need to have something there to pull from the database to state that if someone paid $50 for it then it is no longer available?
Check out oscommerce. They might have a contribution on there that could help. Not too sure exactly what it is called. sadcox is very skilled at osCommerce though & he might know exactly which one it is.
It sounds similar to TemplateMonster website. when you buy exclusive rights paying a huge fee, template is removed from their system.
