    phpBB Mod Help

Are there any phpBB experts here? I'm looking for a way to "embed" a phpBB thread in a page outside of my forums. For example, if I have a page with an article, is there a mod out there where I can include the thread body of a specific forum topic starting at the "new topic"/"post reply" buttons (actually it would only need a "post reply" button)? This would be handy for discussing the article. It would suffice if I could just specify a topic ID in the page and the thread is displayed.

Nope. That's not a phpBB file.

That's not exactly what I'm looking for. That seems to take the first post from the topic. I'm looking to display the entire thread (initial post and replies). Basically it should appear exactly as it would in the forum and provide the same functionality as if it was a forum thread (reply, quoting, user info, etc.). The thought here is to provide an easy mechnism to comment on an article or page.

    Any other ideas?

Are you using the Fetch All mod to do that? I've posted this in their forum too to no avail:

Someone out there must have done something like this....

BTW - I was able to pull this off using Fetch All. Here is where I'm using it (click on one of the resorts and scroll to the bottom):

Thought someone else may find this interesting.

Are you advertising with your forum signature? Is this cool?

No less cool than registering on a site just to complain about a user who posts there, who happens to be the same user you complain about on every site because he's locked you out of his own forums TWICE under two different names for trolling and constant insults.

Of course, I'm now guilty of the first count... See what trolls lead you to, folks?

Guess I get to go learn about phpbb some more. At least you've led me to a new resource, ASCee aka ASC aka Oakley. So SOME good has come from this.
