I need to replicate 2 tables from dbA to to dbB and 2 *separate* Tables from dbB to dbA . i am happy that tables can be replicated without replicating the whole database using specific table commands
But is the reversing Master and slave thing possible?
I have read through various posts and looked into replication but it appears to be one way from slave to Master.
is then possible to set the same slave to master and replicate tables again
The replication needs to be done every hour both ways

That is what we intend to do . . .
But there is still a problem in that one server is set as Master and one as slave
We have tried setting cron jobs to run for something similar before just using select and update queries but we have trouble with those too not the script doesn't work just the cron job never seems to run . . .
Add replication users to both servers, and then configure each one to replicate the appropriate tables from the other server. It's the same as setting up normal replication, except both servers are set up as slaves, and both have a user with replication privs.
