    linux SCSI partition and mysql db

    hi,

    this is my linux SCSI-A and SCSI-B partition,

    the problem is, there Mysql DB install into /var/db/mysql
    so Mysql-server will going to access which db, ??????

    (/dev/sdb3)/var/db/mysql
    Or
    (/dev/sdb5)/var/db/mysql


    ls -al showing the db exist in both directory !!!!!

    hi,

    if the mysql install into:

    /dev/sdb3 10080520 123560 9444892 2% /var/db

    then how about the
    /dev/sdb5 10080488 1766976 7801444 19% /var

    there is a copy of the mysql db inside (/dev/sdb5)/var/db/mysql
