    ColocationNY - Reviews? Anyone?

Has anyone here ever used ColocationNY? What do you think? The datacenter is a couple minutes from my house I wanted to give it a shot. Can anyone post ping times to their site?

single homed on mfn, it looks like. probably not the best choice for mission critical stuff, but should work reasonably well since mfn is decent. this is a bird's view analysis - dont have any specific info on them. this, in fact, is somewhat troubling since i am well-acquainted with the nyc market being we are in it.

MFN at NYC is so so, seems their peering capacity at NYIIX is 100% maxed out. That was the reason why Choopa was having some routes adjusted.

all i see is good ping times all around, so far beating internap from about 5ms. I do know it is not safe to use one upstream provider though.

mfn is having intermittent peering capacity issues recently. not something i would stake my willy on. some long haul route performance problems as well, but you dont care about that for what you are doing.
