This script was developed by Clook.net a few years ago. The reason development stopped was because people were removing the copyright and not giving proper credit to the author. I see this script pop-up on a lot of sites and I hate to see that the copyright was removed. I think that's very dishonest and people should keep the copyright of the original author.
You might want to contact Jim_UK on the board and see if he's willing to give you a copy, though I suspect not since it has not be developed for a couple of years now.
Regards,
Waylon

http://www.clook.info/forum/showthre...ht=ServerSTATS
Development of serverSTATS for public release has now stopped and all previous and future versions will not be available to the public or supported in any way. Develpment will continue as v.2 was just about done anyway but it will not be available here or anywhere else. I've decided (for a number of reasons) to take it back to what the project started out as: 50% personal project that I enjoy spending spare time on and 50% a useful little application to monitor the servers here.
It would be very much appreciated if no-one can email requesting a copy of future or previous versions because they are no longer being distributed. I'm afraid this also goes for emails and posts in other parts of this forum (dedicated to hosting customer support and sales) regarding support and how to use the script.
I would appreciate it if the script is not distributed any further by anyone else because this can only add to the problems recently experienced. Please see the text at the top of all the scripts for further information:
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
server.STATS is free for both commercial and
non-commercial use providing that the
copyright messages and links remain intact on
the html pages. Re-distribution of this
script without prior consent is strictly
prohibited.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I apologize to the people waiting for the next version of the script and sorry for letting you down. I finally got sick of finding 'companies' claiming that they own the script, selling copies of it for their own profit, removing the copyright/link without permission and generally being abusive when asked about it.

Success in Purchasing?
Has anyone had success in purchasing this script from clook.net? I wrote them with an interest in purchasing the script they now have up on their site... awaiting a reply. I'd even purchase the old script if they had it available. I understand they had it under GNU but I think they could profit nicely from such a script.

I've attached a file of a 'quicky' script that I got from here, at WHT, a few years ago. Customized it a bit and, except for a somewhat illegal SGML character, is HTML complient with most any Browser, any version.
Change one line: $box = array("YOUR_SERVER_HOSTNAME",)
and away you go. Just duplicate the code for each Server you want to show for or customize it so all output is on one line.• PotentProducts.com - for all your Hosting needs

Website Rob,
Thanks for sharing that script. Looks good but I was looking for something with the functionality of the clook script. I did get a response from Jim at Clook.net and they are not willing to sell the script they have online.
