I got a managed.com box about 3 weeks ago. When I first signed up it was during the time they were trying to get the XO line working, so the first 3 days i experienced some connectivity issues, which I expected from the poor reviews here.
Since the XO line was active, I've had solid performance, abour 300k/s downloads from various places on the net, and no downtime as of yet. support is lacking (not 24/7) and sometimes it either takes a while for an answer on a ticket, and sometimes the response is immediate. Reboot requests were done within 30 minutes (I came later to find out I didnt need reboots is was connectivity, not the server itself).
All in all for the price, I'm happy, but do understand support does lack in certain areas, so make sure you know what your doing and don't hose your box
