    IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad flies economy class but has reportedly dislodged Microsoft's Bill Gates as the world's richest man.

    I tend not to take too much notice of reports like that. A lot of them turn out to be false.

    Ill wait for the BBC to announce it before I believe it.

    Mind you, I would not mind 1% of either of their money hehehe

    IKEA makes me think of the flat boxes of shelves, stands, beds, etc that have only a picture guide for the assembly instructions.

    IKEA furniture is sort of like Linux. You have to do everything yourself.

    Other Furniture stores are like M$, everything comes assembled and pre-installed.

    Walmart would be by far the richest with a current bank account at 120 billion, but he died and his wealth is now divided evenly among his wife and children.

    Sultan of Brunai was the richest in the early 90's but he has since dropped. He is still rich though.

    How do you live with that much money? I mean really, You could never really spend it all. I am sure you have all the personal effects and toys that you could ever want.. I'd start walking around giving people $1000 left and right everyday.. Share the wealth..

    Only thing is he won't be richest for too long, as he's already 77, must kinda suck being the world's richest so old, missed out on it earlier
